Response to Marions call to duty good; nearly all September Library shifts covered.
Sharon and Angelique report a successful $500.00 shopping mission.  A trip to Bear Pond books where approximately 12 adult books and 40-50 works of junior fiction were acquired at a 20% discount.  A few free slightly damage books were included in the take.  Another stop at the Free State Library netted another 35 children's books.
Marion purchased approximately $70.00 worth of children's books from Annie's Book Shop.
Details of upcoming "Adventur Race", Friday 9/11 discussed.  Traci will contact Rutland Herald for possible coverage. Nancy to set up  at 4:30.  Karen available to help earlier if needed.  Karen to pick up extra paper supplies, cookies & apples.  Marion will arrange pizza.
Book sale plans made for Bazaar.  Book culling to be done on Thursday evening 9/24, Karen plans to start at 5, all welcome.  Marion & Nancy will provide canopies.  Book movers needed Friday night/Saturday morning.  Traci, Angelique, and Sharon available to supervise sales.  More volunteers wanted.  Angelique will create flyer for distribution at book sale.
Eunice previously agreed to organize music program with input from Marion.
Traci plans to start after school program on Tuesday, 10/13 and complete on Tues 11/17.  Five Tuesday sessions in all.  No program on Election Day, 11/3.
Sharon still investigating Policies and Procedures.  Will have some basic policy ready for after school program participants.
Susie is perfectly happy to file the Annual Vermont Public Library Report and Application for Minimum Standards online.
A thank you note was penned to Myra Peffer and her red bird Willard.
Angelique reports having written a proposal for a $300 grant from Ezra Jack Keats.
