RCML PRESENTS!!!

3/25/2015

Now that the onerous task of cataloging the library's entire collection of books and DVDs to an online data base is largely behind us, the trustees of RCML would like to turn their attention to the all important task of actually getting patrons involved and over the threshold.  If over 4,000 books and 300 DVDs are not enough to entice you we will have to resort to extraordinary measures.  Therefore, we have put together a roster of events that we hope will be of interest to our community.  May we have a drumroll please.

One detail that never changes is that active volunteers are needed if the people of Pittsfield want to preserve an institution that has served the community for over 100 years.  To get involved, to lend a hand, to learn more -visit our website, call a trustee, write us an email, or call the library and leave a message.

    Guidelines for Kid Programs
Children of all ages are welcome to attend our programs.  However, children 2nd grade and younger require a parent present.  Parents are encouraged to accompany an older child who may benefit from your guidance.

Parents are responsible for their children while they are attending library programs, including when the child is dropped off by bus, or when the parent chooses to leave the building or program site. This program starts at 3:45 and end promptly at 5 pm.

    Annual Book Sale

Held every September during the Pittsfield Bazaar. This year will be a BIG one! See you there.

    Halloween Book Giveaway

Held every year during Trick r' Treating, on the Village Green. We'll be there with hot cider and plenty of great books for kids.
