The Library has arranged for Jen Vaughn, a Master's student at the Center for Cartoon Studies, to lead a workshop for 4th grade through high school students who are really into creating art.
We have been given 12 wooden puzzle pieces by the Vermont Arts Council to create a group piece for the "Art Fits Vermont" project that artists are working on statewide this year.
Jen is an exceptional teacher (and Karaoke champion!) who has a special connection with young adults. She will lead the group incorporating collage from photography, discarded library books, original cartoons and typography to create a 12 piece project that will go on permanent display in the library.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY MAY 8th.
SATURDAY MAY 30th from 10am - 3pm.
We'll provide lunch and snack.
Plan on staying the entire session.
Call Angelique at 746-9910 if you have any questions or to register by phone.

Guidelines for Kid Programs
Children of all ages are welcome to attend our programs. However, children 2nd grade and younger require a parent present. Parents are encouraged to accompany an older child who may benefit from your guidance. Parents are responsible for their children while they are attending library programs, including when the child is dropped off by bus, or when the parent chooses to leave the building or program site. This program starts at 3:45 and end promptly at 5 pm. Annual Book Sale
Held every September during the Pittsfield Bazaar. This year will be a BIG one! See you there.
Halloween Book Giveaway
Held every year during Trick r' Treating, on the Village Green. We'll be there with hot cider and plenty of great books for kids.
