Upcycle Halloween Decorations with Upper Michigan Art Garage + more!

Upper Michigan Art Garage comes brings us an upcycle Halloween decorating workshop*.  3:30 - 5 on October 22nd at the Roger Clark memorial Library.  Just one of our exciting Fall programs (more here.)

Annual Candy Halloween Drop - We know you love Halloween in Pittsfield.  Please help us make it a little bit more fun for EVERYONE.  We’re organizing our third annual candy drop.  Drop donations of trick-or-treat candy at the Pitt-Stop, at the front desk at the Killington Elementary school, or at the Pittsfield Library by October 22nd. We will divide it up and distribute it among homes that traditionally welcome trick-or-treaters by October 25th.

October 22nd - Upper Michigan Art Garage comes brings us an upcycle Halloween decorating workshop*.  3:30 - 5.  

October 29th - Vermont artist and author Mark Gonyea will visits Roger Clark Memorial Library with his new book "The Spooky Box" and a hands on scratch art workshop*.  3:30 - 5  For more information click HERE.

Halloween Night - If you are trick-or-treating in Pittsfield, be sure to stop in and see the Library Witch!  She’ll be giving away new books for costumed visitors to keep.  5 to 7:00pm

Library Community CookBook FundRaiser - We need your recipes!  Stop by the Library for a form, or download oneHERE.  Be sure to return recipes by December 23rd at the latest (recipes can be dropped at the Library or mailed to use at: RCML PO Box 743 Pittsfield, VT 05762.)  We’ll be compiling the recipes and selling the cookbooks in the spring to help pay for all the programs we provide. 


*Guidelines for Kid Programs
Children of all ages are welcome to attend our programs.  However, children 2nd grade and younger require a parent present.  Parents are encouraged to accompany an older child who may benefit from your guidance.
Parents are responsible for their children while they are attending library programs, including when the child is dropped off by bus, or when the parent chooses to leave the building or program site. This program starts at 3:45 and end promptly at 5 pm.

    Annual Book Sale

    Held every September during the Pittsfield Bazaar. This year will be a BIG one! See you there.

    Halloween Book Giveaway

    Held every year during Trick r' Treating, on the Village Green. We'll be there with hot cider and plenty of great books for kids.
