We're Digital!
Thanks to our incredibly dedicated volunteers our entire collection is now catalogued. What this means for our patrons? You can view our collection of books and DVDs online here and sort or search by author or title. It also means check out is a little smoother.
We're Warm & Welcoming!
On a cold snowy day your local library is an awfully nice place to stop in, visit with neighbors, find a book to read, borrow a movie, use our Wi-Fi and get a free cup of coffee. We're open Tuesdays 3 to 5 pm and Thursdays 5 to 7pm.
New Faces
Town meeting's coming up, and there will be a few changes at the library. After several years of energetic service our Trustee and Treasurer Eunice MacDondald Rice will be stepping down from the board. We still plan to recruit her for special projects as often as possible!
And after enough years (I've lost count) I have stepped down as Library Trustee Chair. I will continue on as an active board member and volunteer, but it's someone else's turn to be in charge. I am so grateful to see a new group of library volunteers stepping up and putting in the tremendous time, effort and passion it takes to keep our library alive and well.
Every town should have a library. Please stop in, borrow a book or movie, and let the volunteers know you value your community library.
Joining the library board is a great way to serve your community, and NO experience is required.
Don't forget, we're 100% volunteer run and we quite literally would not be here without you!
Thanks,
Marion
