For the past two years Pittsfield's Roger Clark Memorial Library's annual fund-raising dinner has been a sold out event.

Jason Evans will again host the event at the Clear River Tavern, on Wednesday, May 12th at 5:30 pm. The evening will feature internationally themed hors d’oeuvres and food stations instead of a sit-down dinner, so more of the completely volunteer run library's supporters can attend. There will be something to suit everyone’s taste, children too. The now famous Library Dessert Buffet will make its annual appearance as our board members and volunteers try to out do each other with confections worthy of their own event. There will be entertainment for kids, and creative literary cocktails for adults.

Over the past year The Library has increased its efforts to purchase more current NYT and independent bestselling books for adults and kids. The collection reflects the reading interests of patrons. At this year's dinner you can help by sponsoring a book from their wish list of bestsellers, favorite authors, young adult and kids books. Each sponsored book will be placed in the library’s collection and contain a book plate recognizing the sponsor.  The sponsor gets to be the first one to check out the book.

Reservations may be made ($18 adults, $8 kids 12 and under) by using our on line form, e mailing the library at pittsfieldvtlibrary@gmail.com, with any of the Trustees, or by calling the library at 746-4067 and leaving a message.
