Roger Clark Memorial Library had a great turn out for it's After School Program- Cooking with Eunice! Things were a little sticky, a little gooey, and a bit dark. That's right, we weathered the loss of electricity just fine, eventually the lights came back on and our cooks followed Eunice and her recipe of Homemade Pretzels with excitement. Lots of "ews" and "gross" were heard as the kids mixed the yeast to the hot water, then they added the flour and were off to the end result- delicious pretzels topped with cinnamon sugar and/or salt. There were a lot of great pretzel designs and I was impressed with how well everyone worked together adding, mixing, stirring, and rolling- thank you to Eunice and all the parents who lent a helping hand.
