Please join us at 6pm in the new library space (upstairs in the Town Office Building). We'll be working out strategies for our work day, move in and Halloween programming.

No experience required. We will have jobs for all abilities from checking in books to assembling shelves to light carpentry. We'll send more details out soon via another e mail & postings on our web site and Facebook page. Remember we are 100% volunteer run, without YOU there is no library.
Make Halloween more fun!
We know you love Halloween in Pittsfield. Can you help us make it a little bit more fun for EVERYONE? We're organizing our second annual candy drop. Please drop donations of trick-or-treat candy at the Pitt-Stop convenience store or at the front desk at the Killington Elementary school by October 15th. There will also be a drop at the Stockbridge elementary school. We will divide it up and distribute it among homes that traditionally welcome trick-or-treaters. And don’t forget to stop by the Library building, we’ll be giving free books away!
We're looking for donations
Not books...well, not yet! We're still bringing back and catalogging all the books we stored during the renovation. But if you have a Kuerig Coffee machine or a mini fridge you're looking to get rid of, let us know. We plan to make the library as comfy and inviting as we possibly can, for both kids AND adults.
