We have volumes 1 and 3 at the Library, ready to borrow now. I have hopes to fill that obvious hole in our collection where volume 2 should go soon!
Representative John Lewis, the civil rights icon, visited Burlington in October 2019, along with his co-writer, Andrew Aydin. Together, they created graphic novels (called March, in three volumes) telling the story of Congressman Lewis's life experiences, growing up in segregated Alabama and becoming active in the civil rights movement. The link below will take you to the VT Humanities Council page, from where you can navigate to a recording of his talk at the Flynn, his interview on VPR, and photos of his time in Burlington.
