Meeting was called to order at 5:36

August 2020 Librarian’s report was received, Betty accepted, 2nd Amanda
August 2020 Treasurer’s report was received, Betty accepted, 2nd Amanda

  • Conclusion and Action Items: Maya will sign the contract for Story Walk and mail back to Ann. Order supplies from Demco.
    
  • Next steps towards opening: more visible displays that the library is open- roadside, Mountain Times articles, Swiss Farm Mkt, social media, be creative. Action Item: Maya prepare this week(8/24) for Appointment only for Monday and Thursdays starting this Monday. Open for public on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
    
  • Action Item: Maya Tease out details on Fall events to be able to market the events during the PCC event.
    
• September 26th Pittsfield bazaar had been rebranded as PCC: Maker Space
  
  • Pittsfield Community Connections, carry on the tradition of the old bazaar. 
    
  • Exhibitor agreement has the logo and map, people who did the artist way were sent info.
    
  • Silent Auction: Action Item: Amanda will communicate with Coral and Erica for donors so not to overlap with PVFD silent auction
    
  • Details: Action Item: Betty will coordinate with Connie Martin regarding markingsregarding, markings, rope around perimeter parameter, space blocking, entrance and exit points. Clickers and sanitizers are on order.
    
    • Action Item: continued exhibitor outreach
      
    • Selectboard will have a booth and Sarah Gallagher as well. 
      
    • Room for 16 vendors, 5 vendors have confirmed
      
    • Action item: Betty n Amanda Promo sign will be created asap for marketing event and separate web page created.
      
• Action Item: Cindy -Scarecrows, will be PRd in early September through schools etc. Discussion of when scarecrow creation will happen. Possible library event to create beforehand.
  
• Bookclub, tentatively meeting 9/1. Will go back to monthly. Action Item: Erica will create poster and book listing
  
• ILL, hopefully in place by 9/5. Action Item- Betty, paperwork and coordination with Rochester
