Purchase of new screen to accommodate modern film format discussed.
Expansion of DVD collection endorsed by all.
Erica presented Cookbook update. 200 recipes received. Erica and Sharon have been entering recipes into online formatting tool and would appreciate help in proofreading recipes before final submission. With all the work left to be done it seems unlikely that we will be able to meet January 31 deadline for discounted publication deal. Help with project will be solicited via email update to mailing list. Add space still available. Suggestion made that free space be made available to Historical Society.
Ideas for Spring Fundraiser discussed. Need to reinvigorate membership as much as fundraising stressed. Tentative date, Sunday, May 18th. Clear River Tavern suggested as venue. Promotion of cookbook to be one element of fundraiser with suggestion that donated desserts reflect recipes from book.
Summer Reading Program to be managed again by Erica and Heather who are aware of January 31 deadline to register RCML participation and order promotional supplies.
Cataloging backlog discussed. Sharon raised previous suggestion to find a paid summer intern to complete the project. Possibility of contracting someone to finish project suggested as another possibility.
Marion to contact Rob Geisler for advice regarding finding a resource for Dewey Decimal system to accelerate the cataloging process.
