Erica was contacted by Chris Frenett of Red Cross and RCML agreed to host blood drive on Thursday April 30th, 12-5.
Erica to be point person for this. Food donations will be required and volunteers needed for registration, 2-3 people suggested for 2 shifts. Four blood draw stations anticipated. On line registration mentioned. To take place in Town Hall. Posters will be provided.
Garden Talk with Charlie Nardozzi to take place Sunday May 3rd in library. Time to be determined. Marion will be coordinating this. Karen will be purchasing some of his books for the collection prior to the event.
Marion will also be asked to follow up on a Stargazing program mentioned at a previous meeting.
Sip & Paint event discussed. Karen to contact Traci for advice and contacts and Joyce for possible donation of space for event. Possible dates April 23rd, May 7th or 28th. A BYOB affair.
Heather & Erica have already organized the summer reading program which will begin in June.
Publicity for events planned via email & post cards, posters and The P.
Erica will be designing and arranging the printing with input from all trustees.
